Originally chartered September 3, 2003, the Executive Committee was established to facilitate and enhance communications among residents, standing committees and the Board of Directors.
The members of the Executive Committee are the Board of Directors and the Chairs of all standing committees. The committee is advisory and does not have the authority to make commitments on behalf of Steeplechase CSA.
The primary functions of the Committee are:
- Discuss and brainstorm broad policy issues.
- Facilitate communication concerning matters being addressed by the Board.
- Ensure that the Board and all Committee Chairs are aware of all active Community projects.
- Interact with residents and report any ideas, suggestions, or problems.
The Committee meets at least three times a year upon the call of the Board Chair.The Board meets every other month, usually on the third Saturday. Meetings are open to all residents of the community, who are invited to ask questions and discuss issues that are relevant to the community.
